The “Let me get this straight… passed by a Congress that didn’t read it, signed by a president who smokes… surgeon general who is obese…” part was a meme going around when “Obamacare” was first passed in 2010. And fact check: we’ll be taxed for four years before we see any benefit? That wasn’t true in 2010 and it’s not true now. And has it gotten harder for any of you to see your doctor since then? More people getting preventive care will actually free up doctors’ time, since they won’t be dealing with serious illnesses as often. And it will cost the whole system less money. Finally, Trump has declared bankruptcy, what, 11 times? His financial advice isn’t exactly trustworthy.
