noodroid asked: hi! i have a question. i can’t find an answer for some reason (i think because most of it is #occupywallstreet talk), but isn’t it illegal to video police? i know in my state you can video them, but sound makes it wiretapping so that’s illegal. i’m not sure what the laws in NY are, so could you help or shed some light on that? ):

Though as you mentioned audio can be a bit sticky because of overextended wiretapping laws. If you, the videographer, are vocally interacting with the cop it does not violate that.
